Full Time Analyst

Description: The HR Analyst will be responsible for delivering proactive, and high-quality HR support to the Investment Banking division. The candidate will support the Investment Banking HR Business Partner team in providing a variety of HR services to the business globally.

Primary Responsibilities: The HR Analyst will support the HR Business Partner team across a range of HR disciplines including:

  • Provide operational support to HR Business Partners on both cyclical and adhoc HR processes including performance management, promotions, compensation, talent development, and DEI initiatives. Support will involve ensuring data is captured accurately, handling reporting requests, assisting with audits, and the tracking and maintenance of employee data and documents.
  • Provide day to day support for employees and managers on operational HR matters by providing timely, accurate and thorough responses. (i.e., answering policy questions, assisting with off boarding of employees, immigration questions, leaver processing, etc.).
  • Implement necessary system changes, suggest/create efficiencies for various processes, and update process documents.
  • Project manage initiatives for the HR Business Partner team.
  • Foster best practices initiatives for Investment Banking division.
  • Assist with on-time implementation of all corporate initiatives, tailored appropriately to local requirements/business requirements.

Desired Experience/Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree required; Human Resources or Psychology degree preferred
  • Graduation Date: May 2021 - May 2022
  • 0-1 year of experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong Excel skills a must - fluency with formulas such as Vlookup, Pivot Tables, sumifs, countifs, min, max, average arrays
  • Comfortable learning and navigating through systems, prior experience with HRIS a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and process orientation
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and client service focus
  • Positive attitude and desire to learn and grow
  • Superior judgment, professionalism, and ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality and assertiveness
  • Be able to work effectively as part of a team, demonstrate initiative and proactively contribute ideas, views, and recommendations to the team

Jefferies’ COVID-19 Policy – US

The salary range for this role is $65,000 - $75,000.
