Wealth Management leverages the power of Jefferies’ internal capabilities as well as third-party service providers. As our private wealth clients have broad-based needs, Wealth Management works closely with and touches virtually all parts of Jefferies.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Assist Wealth Management Sales Teams and Business Management in various phases of financial services. Maintain best practices standards, excellent client satisfaction and actively assist in the wealth management business growth of a high-performing international unit.
  • General Administrative and Operational tasks including Expense Management
  • Clerical duties such as Handling telephones, Mail, Filing, Data Entry and Processing Documentation
  • Ability to Prepare Presentations
  • Ability to Multi-task and work in fast paced, high-pressure, deadline-oriented service environment
  • Acquire knowledge of products and services to support sales teams with front end tasks
  • Research and respond to sales teams regarding client inquiries
  • Capable of Developing and Maintaining strong relationships with internal client base
  • Special Projects assigned by Business Management
  • Firm requirements for licensing and continuing education for registered persons
  • Acquire basic knowledge of Fidessa (trading), Pershing (workstation) and Addepar (performance reporting) to serve as back up for sales teams

 Desired Background & Skills

  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong client rapport-building skills
  • Strong computer skills - Advanced Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Internet search engine proficiency
  • Fluently Bilingual: English and Spanish (preferred) or English and Portuguese or English and Spanish and Portuguese.

Licensing Requirement

  • SIE – Securities Industry Essentials Examination
  • Series 7 General Securities Representative Exam
  • Series 66 Uniform Combined State Law/ Investment

 

Jefferies’ COVID-19 Policy – US

The salary range for this role is $60,000 - $75,000
