Full Time Analyst

Responsibilities:

  • Support members of the investment team in areas across performance reporting, advisory platform, vendor project management, and due diligence
  • Assist team with account opening and account monitoring
  • Maintain performance reporting across wealth management
  • Maintain the internal and external shared databases for investment due diligence.
  • Track documentation and coordination with in-house counsel
  • Understand and contribute to the team’s investment research processes
  • Oversee ongoing monitoring of operational due diligence for alternative investments including reviewing reports and relevant news articles
  • Work independently and collaboratively between vendors and across the firm to meet deliverables and ensure a smooth, and effective project implementation

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with demonstrated interest in economics and/or investing
  • Seeking students graduating in December 2022
  • Advanced Microsoft Power Point, Excel, and Word skills
  • Strong written and communication skills as well as strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Solid ability to communicate and interact effectively with multiple teams
  • Ability to multi-task, work under tight deadlines, and quickly adjust to changing priorities
  • Highly motivated with strong attention to detail
  • Familiarity with Addepar and Envestnet preferred but not required
  • Ability to collaborate across different business units (Support, IT Teams, Jefferies Institutional Platform, etc.) to ensure smooth implementation and integration of new functionality.
  • Successful completion of Series 7 and Series 66 Exams within the time frame provided
