We are actively recruiting qualified candidates for our Capital Markets Sales Support group within our Operations Business Unit. 

What you can expect:

The Jefferies Operations team affords Analysts the opportunity to become familiar with the processing and reconciliation of all firm and client trading and settlement activity.  You will be encouraged to think creatively, offer input, and add value to the team from day one. You will be expected to pursue your projects with excellence, a collaborative spirit, and with the highest levels of integrity.

The IOM Static team supports institutional account onboarding across multiple internal and vendor applications.The team also manages various static data elements impacting trade settlement.  Primary functions associated with the IOM Static role include:

  • Onboarding of new customer accounts across Fixed Income, Equities, FX and Derivatives, as well as the maintenance and closure of these accounts, where applicable
  • Creation and maintenance of global standing settlement instructions (SSIs)
  • Addition and maintenance of commissions
  • Support user acceptance testing across all relevant applications

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelors degree or equivalent
- Graduation date between December 2021 through May 2022
- Team player who excels at working both independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to multitask and manage a variety of projects simultaneously
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Organized

General Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Broad understanding of financial markets
- Must demonstrate professionalism and exceptional client servicing
- Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines
- Project management skills a plus
