All Investment Banking Analysts at Jefferies receive an enriching orientation comprising a structured training curriculum in August, once our entire 2026 Graduate Analyst cohort has joined us. Following an enriching orientation and training program, Analysts will begin working on their day-to-day responsibilities, with support from colleagues serving as both instructors and mentors. Jefferies’ collegial program also offers a series of social and educational events to further enhance your professional development and grow your network.
In addition to performing fundamental analysis and research into companies and markets, Analysts are challenged to think creatively, offer their input, and add value to the team from day one. As with everyone at Jefferies, Analysts are expected to pursue their projects with excellence, a collaborative spirit, and with the highest levels of integrity.
Analyst responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Performing financial valuation, discounted cash flow and multiples-based analyses
- Building and using financial models
- Preparing pitchbooks and live deal materials, such as offering memorandums and prospectuses
- Conducting industry and product research
- Analyzing detailed corporate and financial information
- Participating in the execution of financings and M&A transactions
What we look for in a candidate
We look for candidates who are eager to make an impact by doing real, hands-on work and participating on active deal teams. Successful Jefferies Analysts are able to multitask and manage a variety of projects simultaneously. Candidates must demonstrate professionalism and client management skills together with strong technical, written and verbal communication skills. The work is fast paced, challenging and intellectually stimulating. The ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines, be adaptable and work both independently and as part of a team are essential traits of a successful candidate. You should have a strong academic background and be completing your final year of a undergraduate degree or equivalent program. Although a background in accounting or finance can be helpful, we hire Analysts who have studied a variety of disciplines.

- Candidates who are fluent in a Southeast Asian language (e.g.: Bahasa Melayu, Bahasa Indonesia, Tagalog, Thai, Vietnamese, etc.) are encouraged to apply.

Investment Banking
The Jefferies Singapore Investment Banking team focuses on the origination and execution of equity and M&A transactions for our Southeast Asian clients. Our business in Southeast Asia and Asia has a proven track record with tremendous deal momentum, which we continue to leverage to play an active role in M&A, initial public offerings and equity fundraises, cross-border financing across different sectors in the region. Our Investment Banking team works closely with teams in New York, London and other regional offices as one global team in cross-border transactions. Leveraging our unparalleled global resources and network, Jefferies’ Singapore platform is well positioned to capitalize on the continued growth of Southeast Asia and Asia economies.
